This is an initial lip-blushing appointment. This is only for individuals with no previous work by me. Please let me know if you have any previous work done prior to your appointment.

+ 6-8 week touchup required (additional $100)

6-8 week lip blush touch-up for anyone who recently had an initial appointment.  This is required to achieve desired results.

Frequency of treatment

Once, annual touchups are recommended to maintain optimal results.

What to expect:

Lips will feel dry, swollen, and tender right after the procedure . Swelling goes down within 48 hours.

Similar to the Brow healing stages, Lips will go through a dark and peeling stage like above.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOT PICK, PEEL, OR RUB LIPS.

Lip Blush Preparation:

-Please DO NOT consume caffeine 24 hours prior to appointment. ( this will increase bleeding) 
-Do NOT take blood thinning medication 48 hours before or after procedure. ( Fish oil, pain relievers, ibuprofen, etc) 
-No Botox or Fillers 4 weeks prior or after procedure. 
-If prone to cold sores, please take an anti-viral from physician 5 days prior and continue 5 days after procedure as lip blushing can trigger an outbreak.
-Recommended to exfoliate lips everyday for one week prior to procedure. 

Lip Blush Aftercare:

-Day One: Pat lips gently with wet wipe every 10 minutes until bed ( this prevents hardening of lymphatic fluids).
*Clean lips with antiseptic wipe provide before bed.
*Apply Aftercare ointment with a q-tip ( Do NOT rub lips together ) 
-Day 1-7: Apply aftercare ointment several times a day for 7 days. Do NOT allow lips to dry out. 
-Day 2-4: Lips will start to peel and flake. Let flakes fall off naturally ( this is normal) . Picking, rubbing , pulling, or peeling the flakes off will effect healing and pull out pigment causing area to heal light. 

IMPORTANT: 
-Drink all liquids through a straw 
-Do NOT bite into foods ( use utensils/fingers) 
-Do NOT apply makeup or chapstick
-Do NOT use any cleaners or soaps on lips 
-Avoid soaking lips in shower, sweating, steam
-Avoid smoking 
-Avoid direct sun/ tanning beds

1-2 touch ups required for desired results 
Lips will fade about 50% in the first 5 days and lips remain in a “light phase” for 30 days. 

*Please contact a physician at first sign of infection * touch-up will be done after 2 weeks if needed. We will adjust your dose for next time to ensure the results are perfect!
